Code Compare functionality allows you to easily view changes between two versions of the codes by highlighting portions newly added and displaying portions removed with a strikethrough styling.
Only codes that contain multiple versions support this functionality.
To turn on comparison view,
- Open a document that has more than one version
- Click the Code comparison Button in the top left
- Change the version you want to compare to, if it’s not set to the correct version.
- Turn on the Code Compare view
Once the mode is turned on, the text or sections that are highlighted in yellow are new, while text that is strikethrough has been removed.
Note: if content has been moved, it will show up as a combination of removed and added content.
